Our Team

  • David McWilliams, Pastor

Pastor David has been with Zion since July 2023. He is passionate about creating Christ-centered community and challenging people to follow Jesus in practical ways. Outside of the church, he loves spending time with his wife Liz and son Mason, baseball and hiking!

  • Kerri Creel, Office Manager

Kerri joined Zion in the spring of 2019. Embracing her role/gift of support, she enjoys serving others in the name of Christ. In addition to her administrative ministry at Zion, Kerri finds joy in God's many blessings including singing, photography, interpreting colonial history, and traveling with her husband Gregg, their two teenagers, and their dog Collins.

  • Becky Fisher, Director of Music

Becky Fisher leads the music program at Zion. She has been a member of Zion UMC for the majority of her life, and to her, there is truly no place like her home Church. She began playing for Zion as a substitute in high school, and in between life situations, she has accompanied the church for forty years. When not preparing for choir and worship services, she enjoys traveling, photography, touring, and sometimes hunting for lighthouses with her husband Ronnie. They were blessed with three children and now have four grandchildren. Music allows her to express and share her faith through the words of the choral anthem or through instrumentals.

  • Shanniki Green, Children's Worship

Shanniki joined our staff in April 2024. She is passionate about teaching Children God’s Word, character and love by fostering an environment where Children know they belong in God’s family. Shanniki is an Evangelist and Author who desires to inspire and uplift others. She is also a Mother of 2 and Grandmother of 3 boys.

  • Amy Lagon, Finance

Joining the Zion office staff in December 2019, Amy assisted us in transitioning our bookkeeping to a computerized accounting system and now continues to provide financial support to our Treasurer. Her most important job has been raising her two daughters: Kelsey (high school) and Alexis (college). Both young ladies are involved in theater programs, so Amy spends a lot of time helping as a stage mom. She and her husband Brian have been married for 24 years, and they currently reside near Lake Anna.

  • Michelle Jones, Nursery

Michelle has the joyous task of watching over our precious, little ones each Sunday in the nursery. With over 30 years of childcare experience, she has worked at Zion for over 20 years. Michelle has one son (Adam) and two grandsons (Addison and Grayson). In her free time, she takes pleasure in spending time with her grandsons, cooking, and attending her church services.
